Nurse Baize
Welcome to the nurse's office at PNGHS where I have had the honor of caring for the students of this district, since August 1994. My goal is to provide care and information to the students, parents and staff of Port Neches-Groves High School, and to make a positive difference in the student's lives. Please feel free to contact me and share any medical concerns or special needs of your child. My phone number is 409-729-7644 ext.4 option 1 and email is ibaize@pngisd.org
Nurse Burnett
My name is Shannon Burnett. I grew up in Port Neches, graduating from PN-G and am married to my middle school sweetheart. I went to Stephen F. Austin for my pre-reqs, and graduated from nursing school at Lamar University. The first 7 years of my career were in critical care (ICU, cardiac rehab, and cardiac diagnostics). I have been a school nurse since 2019, and I absolutely love it. I attended Ridgewood Elementary as a child, and was blessed to be able to start my school nursing career there having my kids as students there as well.
Being a school nurse provides a unique opportunity to be a part of the lives of the people in our community. After years of tertiary care, I have realized that my heart is with primary prevention. I love teaching about health and wellness, and attribute much of my passion to the experiences I went through working in ICU.
I am so thankful for this opportunity and will try my hardest to provide the best care to our students, staff, and families. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions or concerns at all.

Please completely finish the emergency form information. It is very important that you inform me if your child has any medical condition, allergies or if they are taking any medication even if the medication is taken at home. This information will help me to provide the best possible nursing care here at school.
