Transcripts and VOE's
Transcript QR
Seniors may obtain two (2) free copies. Thereafter, each transcript will cost $1.00. When requesting transcripts, please give the receiving institution up to 10 days to receive and possibly up to 14 to process it. If a paper copy is requested, the student will need to come by the counseling office to pick it up. Remember, a transcript is only "Official" if it is in the original sealed envelope. Also, transcripts can only be sent electronically to in-state public universities. If you are requesting a transcript for an out-of-state or private institution, the student should request a paper copy, pick it up, and mail it to the desired school.
VOE QR
Once requested, a VOE (Verification of Enrollment) can be picked up during lunches or before/after school. Please give our office staff half a day or so to prepare the document before coming to pick it up.
Applying for College
College admissions applications are now open and some preferred application deadlines are as early as mid-October and will continue through the Spring. Use the link below for the preferred application site for most public Texas colleges and universities. If you are unsure of how to apply, the best bet is to research the university of interest by finding the undergrad admissions page of the institution's webpage.
Common App and Coalition are two other popular sites to apply for Texas, out-of-state and private institutions.

Scholarship Opportunities
First and foremost, once you have applied to the colleges of your choice (and in some cases been accepted), there will be scholarships available through those institutions (these are typically the bigger ones). Log in to that college's scholarship or future student portal and explore what is available through the university system.
Our Local Scholarship Application is available and posted below with a preferred due date of February 5, 2025. With that form, the sooner it is returned, the more opportunities a student may have to earn a scholarship.
I also recommend GoingMerry. It is a national scholarship search service that is free and seems to be one that doesn't have too many ads or solicitation. Here is the link to register and create a profile. https://www.goingmerry.com/
